NTUA Interns from Taiwan

Last January, 10 students from the National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA) came to intern with Inspidea for 2 weeks. They were given an intense training in each of their specialties. We taught them as much as possible about the real production pipeline so that they could share how animation was done in Malaysia once they get home. Three girls interned in the Background department while another six girls in the Animation department. The only guy in the group interned in the Finishing department.

Besides leaning about animation, we also showed them our regional attractions like the Petronas Twin Towers, Batu Caves, the Butterfly Park and Chinatown. We also had drinks at a rooftop bar and brought them to a library where they read a lot of comic and animation books.

When in Malaysia, they ate like Malaysians. They had Satay, Nasi Lemak, Nasi Kandar, Dim Sum and other Malaysian specialities. We even brought them to Malaysia’s famous Burger Lab restaurant.

We asked about their short time being here. They seemed to enjoy it.
